17³Ô¹Ï was recognized at the 2017 College Sports Media Awards for Outstanding Live Game Production thanks to its athletics video offices and their live coverage of men’s basketball. 

 “This is a game changer, not only for Lamar Video but for 17³Ô¹Ï Athletics,” said Clint Burges, the Athletics Video Coordinator for 17³Ô¹Ï and Big Red Sports Network.

17³Ô¹Ï joined institutions like Texas A&M University and University of Alabama in receiving honorable mentions from the Collegiate Athletics class and was accompanied by noteworthy media such as Fox Sports in the category.

 “We’ve had so many great students come through to help make this place successful and it’s hard to accredit one person. We are thankful to Sports Video Group for this great accolade,” added Burges.

The awards recognize the best in college sports production and are presented annually by Sports Video Group, a community for sports professionals, and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, an association with a 50-year history and over 11,000 athletics administrators.
