You should take courses in math, science and related subjects to get a strong foundation to study engineering in college.
Our engineering advisors expect to see four years of high school math, a core component of all engineering disciplines.
Our degree programs begin at Calculus 1, so students should be prepared to take Cal 1 their first semester of college. If you do not begin Cal 1 your first semester, the degree plan may take you longer than 4 years.
Are you a STEM teacher who wants to get connected? The College of Engineering is happy to visit your classroom, assist with lesson planning, or schedule a group visit to our facilities!
Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment (DE) courses are excellent ways to prepare your time here at 17³Ô¹Ï. The value of these courses goes beyond earning college credit, as it showcases your ability to succeed in an academically challenging environment.
